James Franco has signed a deal with Amazon to publish his novel Actors Anonymous, reportedly based around his experiences as an actor.

The book has been acquired by the online retailer's Fiction Editor Ed Park from Franco’s literary agent, Richard Abate of 3 Arts Entertainment. The 127 Hours star released his previous work, a collection of short stories titled Palo Alto, with Scribner in September 2010.
